How we vet providers

What a provider must show before we link to it

1. Public reviews. At least 10 reviews averaging 4.0 or more on Google Maps or a comparable platform, and no recurring complaints about hidden costs, neglect or broken promises.
2. A real business. A physical address, a company registration and, where the trade requires one, a licence, for example a Ministry of Tourism licence for Malaysian MM2H agents or a bar licence for lawyers.
3. Clear prices. We state what the service costs and what it includes, as published by the provider or confirmed by them in writing.
4. Facts we can check. Everything we say about a provider comes from its own website, its written answers to our questions or independent sources, and we show the month we checked.
5. A yearly re-check. We review every provider at least once a year and remove it if its reviews drop or complaints appear.

What we never do

• We never pass on your email address, phone number or any other data. You decide on the provider's own website what you share.
• Providers cannot pay to be listed. A provider that pays us a commission is marked "Ad" next to its name, and its link carries rel="sponsored".
• No provider reviews or approves our articles before publication.

How we count clicks

Links to providers go through a short redirect on retirefinder.com that counts clicks: which provider, on which page, in which language and on which day. We store no IP address, no cookie and no account information with a click, so a click can never be traced back to a person. The redirect also tells the provider that the visit came from RetireFinder.

Providers we currently link to

None of these links is paid. If that changes for a provider, it will be marked "Ad".
