Dining and Food Scene in Lombok
Sasak cooking, the food of Lombok's majority ethnic group, is distinctly hotter than Balinese or Javanese food — the island's name is often linked to chilli, and ayam taliwang (grilled chilli chicken) and plecing kangkung (water spinach with a fierce tomato-chilli sambal) are the dishes to know.
